The Restaurant is lovely every open and very bright, but the service is so slow my partner and I came in sat down, someone came over straightaway and took our drink order and our food order witch was great, our starters come out fine, that’s where things went wrong, from getting our starters we waited over 30 minutes, for our mains when other tables that had come in after us had got their mains, when we asked where they were one of the waiters said that there was a glich in the system ( funny how everyone else’s had come out but ours), we ordered a second round of drinks and they never turned up. As I said at the start lovely open restaurant but needs to improve on the service.

We received not the room as advertised as it faced the city but opposite of picture above a McDonald’s and Burger King. Room was dirty with hair in the bed and a dirty towel. Lovely front desk lady moved us immediately and apologized she was fantastic. We booked one night and were coming back on the weekend for another 3 nights. The front desk lady asked us to speak with the manager after walking around. The manager went on the refund us for the room difference, instead of apologizing she said housekeeping said the room was clean. She went on to say when we return on the weekend they cannot guarantee us a proper city facing room . She had all the ability in the world to save the business and the experience but choose not to. We went on to cancel our weekend stay and move to another hotel close by. The experience from there was different right from the start and noticeable. The hotel I would suggest is good for a night . The cleanliness of the room should be very important and your staff should be able to recover especially when the error is so obvious .

Staff attentive, busy but service was excellent and the food turn around was exceptionally quick. Excellent atmosphere that caters for all ages, with families and couples spent Worth a stop for lunch. The roasted goats cheese salad with honey and walnuts was exceptional.

Let's start this review on a positive note, the hotel is in the city centre and all tourist attractions are within walking distance also the restaurants, stores ect.The lobby and the restaurant are nice and staff nice and polite.The room i got was small but I can't say it was uncomfortable. The rooms could use a makeover cleaning could be more thorough, and the shower head could use an update. However, the worst part was the window view. As we entered the room. I walked to the window and pulled the keys curtains, and I will leave the image for you to view for you . It's an easy fixer, I think. But like most buildings down town are old and a lot of sound can be heard from the hallways, most places in the area are probably similar. I don't think I would return to this hotel due to its price.i think better hotels are available for the same price at this location.

I'll have to spin this out a little to make the 200 character minimum limit. Basically I was in Amsterdam and my phone fell out of my pocket just around the corner from the hotel. Some kind soul who remains anonymous found it and handed it in to this hotel. The member of staff who was on duty noticed the help message which we'd sent to it. He phoned my daughter back in the UK who was then able to phone my wife and tell me where it was. I had it back within an hour of losing it. I cannot thank you enough. It was late on Saturday 13 January 2024.
